Strathchailleach

Strathchailleach is probably the most remote dwelling on the UK mainland. It was home for 32 years to a hermit called James McRory-Smith. He walked a round trip of 21 miles every fortnight to get his pension. He liked painting! Very atmospheric place.

Sunset from Preshal Mor

Preshal Mor is a fantastic looking hill high above Talisker
Bay on Skye. The drop down to the bay from the hill has
to be seen to be believed.

Bit of a shock when we went into his room to wake him up!
